Ghostwalkers Timeline 2006
2006:
Jan-Feb: Continue shooting at the Dallas Site. Shooting against the Fuzzy Ducks and a few other teams. Several bunker building and trail cutting days in between shoots. Balrahg, Bastitch, and Jester spend a day cutting some trails and exploring remote areas.
March: D4 Shoot in Arkansas. Stang and Steel represented the Ghostwalkers among the Klingons. CF put on a hell of a good shoot, Festivities, and Chili!
April 30, Official Paintball, Forney Texas - Blackhawk Down Scenario.
Bastitch, Balrahg, Giggles, Mustang, Steel, Preacher, a couple newbies, and one of the SMS shooters met up as Somalis and shot the hell out of the Ranger force. We also got shot up, but the Somali side ended up pulling off a win 180 - 160. Had a great time, wore ourselves out, and probably shot 25,000 rounds of paint (or more) between us.
May 19/20/21, Hillbillies Gone Postal, Arkansas
Multiple shoots
Balrahg, Mustang, Spike and Jester travel to the mutant filled wastes known as Arkansas. We had a great time shooting hillbillies and blowing stuff up. Great fellowship and a bonfire the night after the shoot that you could see from orbit.
Also: Return To Forney!
Steel & Bastitch mat Silencer and his family for a shoot to mark Silencer's son's return from Iraq. Shot a dozen games, had fun.
June:
Chiggerfest in Dallas - Bastitch got eaten alive.
Mortie, Wraitchild, & Psycho Clown debuted.
Mustang, Giggle, & Andy did a clean up day in Dallas with Bohica and Rat Patrol.
July:
Ghostwalkers were contacted by the wife of a former Ghostwalker in Korea - pretty cool.
4th - shoot in Dallas with Giggles, Preacher, Nun, "Stang, & Evil Dave, and a cook out at Bastitch's place.
Giggles did a walk through assessment of the potential Irving shoot location.
August:
Hotter "N Hell shoot @ Dallas.
Team meeting at Bastitch's place to review Market Garden and test shoot some shields.
Carnage Fairy Debuted.
Giggles and Mustang did a recon to Market Garden shoot site.
September:
MARKET GARDEN - at DFW Adventure Park, Grapevine. Ghostwalkers shot for the Krauts, and lost. Had fun anyway. Bastitch, Giggles, Preacher, Steel, 'Stang, Evil Nun, Andy (maybe he'll have a team name soon), Bohica, Dirty Dogs, lots of others shot the holy hell out of each other in a two day shoot.
Meat Wagon debuted. White van with the team logo on the side. And Who rides a pale horse?
Dallas location took some damage in a storm, some trees came down.
October:
Team by-laws were drafted and reviewed, updated, and eventually voted on. They were accepted unanimously in November.
The Ghostwalkers sent a Victory Box to Afghanistan, full of school supplies that our soldiers will distribute.
November:
First Annual Ghostwalker Costume Shoot - we shot as our alter egos on the Ringer page. Present were Mortie, Evil Nun, Darth Preacher, the Carnage Fairy, Wraithchild, and more.
Pepe, the personal mojo stick of Preacher, was "acquired" by team Rat Patrol, and held hostage. During captivity, Pepe suffered many deprivations while the rats kept him constantly moving in hopes of confusing us. We refused to negotiate with terrorists, so rescue waited till December.
With new by-laws, we elected new club officers. Two ties had to be settled in a run-off duel in December.
December:
18 Ghostwalkers showed up to rescue Pepe, vs, 3 Rat Patrol. We gave them the walk on's and newbies to even it out a little, 11 to 13. We reclaimed Pepe. Mad Dog joins the group.
MAA and Pivot Person club officer positions were settled via personal Duels.
Holiday shooting continued in swamp Dallas, with the last shoot of 2006 moving to California Crossing due to aquatic conditions.

February:
DFWAP Battle Of Bastogne - Steel (General) and Bastitch on the American side, Mad Dog & Preacher were Krauts, Giggles and Mustang refereed. Tons of fun, Americans won, and it was pretty damn cold each morning.
March:
Individuals went to Pegasis Bridge at DFWAP, and Tet Offensive at Forney.
The group went to Arkansas for SHOOT THE MONKEY 2 - Mad Ivan attended as a shooter, CF hosted a truly memorable event.
With the scheduled demise of the Dallas location looming over us, we shot at a new location in Euless. Lots of potential, good location.
May:

September:
Market Gardens at DFWAP - Shot on both sides, plus referee

Deliverance 5 - Moonshine Wars in Arkansas - Hosted this one
Costume Shoot at DFWAP
November:
4 Winds in Tyler (Bear was Kraut General, and Won)
Playing catch up - we also did Hitman, Splendud Little War, and We Were Soldiers, all at DFWAP.
We also started doing CATS parking lot patrols.
We also built TWO tactical ranges for trials and qualifications.
