Ghostwalkers Timeline Through 2003

2003: Our First Formal Year:

Jan: Rure Penthe' Wars (Klingon Shoot), in Kemp, Texas, where we had team-building exercises. It was REALLY cold, with major weapons malfunctions. Only those with back-up "pump action" markers stayed in play. Air tanks froze repeatedly.

Apr: Bowie Shoot in Bowie, Texas. We engaged in team-building exercises. "Bastitch", "Monkey Boy", & "Sneaky Dink" officially joined the team. "'Mrs.' Jester" participated. Bryan was officially nicknamed "Monkey Boy".

Apr: Klingons In The Mist (Klingon Shoot) in Arkansas. We had team-building exercises and experimented with woodland speedball.

Jul: The "Wetwerxx" Yahoo Group was formed. The group officially became a separate team from the Klingon group. The Klingon and Paintball groups henceforth have maintained separate but connected identities.

Nov: Shoot The Monkey (Klingon Shoot) in Arkansas, for a Fun For All and Weekend Camp Out. Team Texas showed up in force. Damn cold up there! We met some shooters from Missouri. We experimented with the repeated use of paint grenades, with mixed results.

Sep: SOB (Shoot Out in Bowie) in Bowie, TX. Fun For All, Weekend Camp Out. The Arkansas "Mafia" showed up in force. The Arkansas Speedballers tried a Texas woodland scenario. By now the Texas team was utilizing '98's and A-5's. We faced-off against the Autocockers and Angels. "Were Gerbil" tried out a pillbox, with mixed results. "Forrest Bump" officially joined the team.

Dec: Park Shoot II in "Pappy" Ellington Park, Pantego, Texas. A Team Shoot and Fun For All. "Rose" introduced his ghillie suit. We discovered sticker bushes.

Initial Group Formation

2001 through Aug 2002: Individuals held shoots at local parks (Hit and Run, Fun On The Run, Mad Ivans). We held personal training exercises rather than team-building. "Balrahg", "Preacher", and "Jester" initiated the activities.

Sep: The "First" Shoot (Klingon Shoot)in Veterans Park, Arlington, TX. We conducted team-building exercises. "GMan", "Qidwi", "Rotok", "Rose", and "Were Gerbil" joined the team. "Were Gerbil" holds the honor of being the first team "kill".

Sep: "Second" Shoot (Klingon Shoot), Veterans Park, Arlington, TX. Team building exercises, pump action only. "Evil Dave" and "Spike" joined the team. Camo attire was initiated.

Oct: Deliverance (Klingon Shoot) in Arkansas. Fun For All, Weekend Camp Out. Team Texas showed up in force. Cool and misty all weekend. "CF" hosted the event. Participants came from Kansas, Missouri, Texas, and Arkansas.

Nov: Bowie Shoot (Klingon Shoot)in Bowie, Texas. We had team-building exercises. This was the first time "serious" firepower (with semi-autos) from Texas participants was used.

Dec: Kling Opps 1 (Klingon Shoot) at "Pappy" Ellington Park, Pantego, Texas. The team participated in a shoot against the Dalworthington Gardens Tactical Police Officers. We lost badly. "Bastitch", “Balrahg” and "Evil Dink" attended as observers only.
