Ghostwalkers History and Timeline

We started out in 2001 as a couple of guys that just wanted to shoot some stuff, which we did at local paintball feilds. Speedball soon wore thin, and a more serious challenge was sought.

We were joined by others who also were seeking a challenge. We called ourselves Wetwerxx, after the SOG-Ops "wet works" assignments.

By the end of 2002 we numbered a dozen. Through 2003 we shot in woodland scenarios, mostly at each other, but occasionally at other teams. By the end of 2003 we had grown to 2 dozen shooters, and decided we needed a name. One that fit our developing style of play.

We picked the Ghostwalkers.

By the end of 2004 we numbered about 4 dozen. Half our members are semi-regular, or remote shooters. A significant number are former military or law enforcement. Many of us are woodland hunters. We range in age from Teens to AARP Candidates, male and female, all occupations and beliefs.

We don't care who you are or what you do, if you want to shoot, we'll shoot with you.                

Most people fear the Reaper. Ghostwalkers considers him "a promising rookie".
