Bio info:
I started playing Paintball back in the bad old days of 1991. I started when I came back from Saudi and was stationed in up state New York. My first PB marker was a WWP Razorback II. It was and still is, if you can find one, the best pump marker out there.
I continued playing off and on until 1995 and then took a 5 year Hiatus, returning to it in 2000. My skills come from years of Security and Law Enforcement. I prefer playing the OPFOR when training situations were set up. That way, I don’t have to follow the strict rules that were set for the regular troops. They had strict rules of engagement and as OPFOR, I didnt. You have a broader spectrum of movement and rules of engagement to work from.
But never with dishonor would I dispatch anyone. I don’t "Bonus Ball", "bunker" or any of that bullshyte. The players that do that crap can stay on the sidelines and away from the field I am on. That goes for the cheating little frak's who wipe after they have been tagged, for if you play like that, you are nothing but a pussy in my books and I will be happy to tell you that to your face. I am brutally honest, and if you don’t like it, don’t ask what I think or do something stupid that begs to have a comment thrown at it.
I am one of the Core members of the Ghostwalkers, and I am one of the founding members. I can say this with a straight face and some measure of pride.. I and several others of like mind got together and decided this would be a great way to have some fun. You can go out, shoot the be-jesus out of your opponent, and not go to jail for “Wasting” someone. I try to show to any shoot that I can. My family comes before PB so that is usually the only reason I miss a good shoot, or the lack of funds due to said family.
I am more of a Hunter, preferring to go out and find my opponent than waiting for them to come to me. My strategy is to be pragmatic on the field, just adapt to whatever the needs of the team or scenario are.
The Squad I prefer to work with, and we do work well together, is Revenant squad. Myself, Bastich, Jester and Forrest Bump. We have proven we can move and work well as a team. At our last OP as a team we moved well, kept the enemy down and took all of them out. More training will make us a formidable team opponent within the Ghostwalkers for any we go up against.
TEAM HISTORY
The guys who kinda started all of this silliness were Myself, Jester, Spike and Preacher and Bastitch came with us very soon after.
We started playing every Saturday or Sunday at Veterans Park in Arlington, playing mainly scenario. Then we moved to every Saturday night at Fun on the Run PB in Ft Worth. We started going and playing speedball and finally decided to start the whole team concept. Everyone else fell very quickly into it, so I consider all of us to be the founders. We then expanded to the Bowie wastelands, where mutants and friendly sheep roam freely. We have played in Kemp, TX, and a few other parks locally. We are a fairly rounded team, though we prefer and lean heavily into the scenario realms.
Favorite targets:
Lycan gerbils.
Screaming little monkeys.
Geeks/ Freaks and starburst fruit chews.
Ridge heads.
Ah screw it, I just like finding anything in my sites to shoot at.
